FAQ
-
Am I the right therapist for you?
My child and adolescent sessions require caregiver involvement, once a month parent sessions and family sessions (as needed). My adult sessions integrate mindfulness and mediation, along with therapeutic homework between each session. Not every therapist is the same, finding the one that fits best with you is important.

Do you accept Insurance
Yes. I currently am in network with:
Blue Cross Blue Shield, Allways (Optum), Mass General Brigham Health plus (Optum), TUFTS (commercial), Harvard Pilgrim, United Behavioral Health, HealthPlans Inc., Aetna and Medicare.
-
What happens if my insurance is not listed?
I would then be considered an out-of-network provider. Please schedule a complimentary consultation to review what that process looks like for you.
Generally, you pay out of pocket, receive an invoice which is sent to your insurance for your reimbursement.

What is a Nutritional Integration Approach?
I have received a nutritional integration certification in 2024 and take a full wrap around approach to treating you and your family. I have a strength- based conversation on your comfort with talking about food and nutrients. Acknowledging every person and family is different.
If requested I am able place outside referrals for a nutritionist to help us alongside your mental health journey. Education and support is provided to help understand the brain-gut connection and its impact on mental health.
**I am not a dietitian or a nutritionist.

Do you prescribe medications?
No. I am not a psychiatrist or medication provider. If you believe you are in need of medication, I can try to assist you in finding a provider.
Please note in order for me to place a medication referral, you need to be seen with me for a minimum of 3 months first.
